Gautier Paulin (born March 26, 1990) is a retired French Motocross and Supercross racer. Born in Draguignan, France, Paulin began racing BMX bikes at the age of 6 after joining a BMX club at school, and won a BMX world championship at the age of 10. Two years later, Paulin made the switch to motocross and his fierce determination won him the 2007 European Motocross Championship in the EMX2 class. In the 14 years of his professional career, Paulin racked up a total of 59 podiums, 30 race wins, and 12 Grand Prix victories, racing for the Kawasaki Bud Racing PSM Racing team, the Honda factory racing team, for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, and the Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team.
But riding for France at The Monster Energy FIM Motocross Des Nations is where Paulin truly excelled. The only French MX racer to earn Gold Medals in 5 straight Motocross Des Nations Championships (in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018), Paulin competed in this event on a whole nother level. Now, Paulin continues to ride every chance he gets and stays active in the moto community.
