Cory Texter
is a retired American Flat Track racer with a massive highlight reel. AFT Production Twins Champion in both 2019 and 2021, Texter is also a two-time AFT Production Twins runner-up, including in 2022 when he took home 5 wins (at Texas HM, Lima, New York ST, Cedar Lake ST, and Volusia HMIII) on board his Yamaha MT-07. During his professional career between 2007 and 2022, Texter managed an immense 20 wins, 44 podiums, and 57 top 5s.
Originally from Willow Street, Pennsylvania, and son of professional Flat Track racer, Randy Texter, Cory got on his first PW 50 at 3 ½ years old and rode in his first race at 5.
When he turned pro in 2007, he used his born-and-bred passion for the sport to quickly climb up the ranks. In 2015, Texter and his sister, Shayna, became the first siblings to ever compete against each other in the X Games. Now, Texter has passed his family’s love for racing onto his son, Cruise, who is now grinding away on his own PW 50. Though officially retired, Texter will stay active in the sport he loves so much with his podcast Tank Slappin’, writing for various publications, as a race promoter, and taking a lap on the track whenever he gets the chance.
