looks like they fixed the retention noise! Bill

I've had this helmet since March 2012. Overall it is one of my favorite helmets ever. Ventilation is good, weight acceptable, being able to mount and always have on hand small high quality lights has saved me a couple times. The visor is just large enough to block unwanted headlights, and a mirror mounts to it nicely using a zip tie. The original elastic retention system was clunky, not handy when the weather turns cooler, and can make an annoying druming noise on bumpy roads or trails. If the new system does away with that problem alone, then yippee!
I got the high Vis green to be more visible on daily commutes. The hi vis faded badly (in the intense Vermont sun) within 3 months, a year and a half in it is the color of the old glow on the dark plastic (light greenish). The reflectivity of the original tape was very poor, I've applied more and higher reflectivity tape. The interior sweat pads are just now wearing out (I usually wear a wicking headband or skull cap). I usually average about 700 to 1000 hours a year in the helmet. Oh, almost forgot, 'cause I never have to think about it - the strap and buckle is awesome.
