Pratical Pedro

Very nice look and finishing, a slightly narrow on the sides internal shape, and my major problem is the lack of temple room for my prescription glasses on the cheek pad area, specially with thick temples, I belive is ventilation is ok, with some wind noise but you get use to it. The retracting sunglasses system is a very handy feature as well as the retaining magnetic strap edge.

first modular.. exofishio

.. and I have to say, I am impressed. I tour a lot on a Road King and have always used half helmets and three quarters. I like the wide open feeling and the noise isn't really bothersome. However, with the windshield on the RK, buffeting is a real problem at legal speeds especially at an angle to the wind. At the insistence of my gf, who wanted me to go full face, we agreed on a modular for the flip up capability and convenience of traffic lite conversation. I decided on the Revolver for the combination of price and the fact it is a Bell.
My first hiway ride sold me on this helmet for the solution to the buffeting problem alone. All the wind deflecting devices I have tried and mixed and matched offered no relief like this helmet with the chinbar and shield down. I am still astonished at how smooth a ride my head gets behind that windshield, no matter what angle the wind comes across the road.
The chinbar is smooth, feels secure when latched and is easily operable with gloves, and same for the shield. Im not wild about the built in shades, maybe they'll grow on me, but they too have a solid and glove friendly lever. I think maybe they simply are not dark enough.
The Evo is heavy, but balanced such that the weight is quickly unnoticed, and it is noisy, but a good scarf around the neck helps measurably, and the RK's windshield curvature is like a speaker for upper engine noise anyway, so I'm used to the racket.
My biggest gripe is with the outer shield and the rainbow effect produced when I wear polarized sunglasses behind it. Very annoying, but I tolerate it because all my Rx sunglasses are polarized to suit my fishing habit and cut down the road glare. A pittance to pay for what I get in return with the rest of the helmet.
Another good product from Bell as far as I am concerned, especially for the price.

Good Value for the price and very functional Ben

I like the helmet had it for a while now and i do find it a little noizy but i like the flip down sun visor and modular feature.

Nice Helmet Cpl. C

I've had it now for about a 1000 miles. A little noisy but no more than any other Fulmer full face I've owned. Ear plugs take care of that. The fit is awesome and the anti-fog works fantastic. Air flow works well even on a 98 degree day. Great graphics and super easy to pop off the shield and clean it. I highly recommend one.

Not Headset Friendly Merle

I like the overall quality and fit of this helmet. And I got the SOLFX shield too, which is AWESOME!!! But when I tried to install a J&M headset, for use with my Gold Wing system, I found that the inner sun shield mechanism interfered with the headset mounting making the headset unusable. I could maybe try another manufacturers headset that doesn't clamp onto the helmet the same way. However, I also discovered that after about an hour I get a severe pain in my forehead. I find that the seam at the top of the brow pad will dig into my head causing extreme discomfort. Due to this it is not worth spending the money on a different headset since I can't wear it for extended trips.

Great Fit yet loud wind noise Craig Scott

This helmet fit is very comfortable, and the chin guard works well, yet there is a lot of wind noise at highway speeds. I can't use my ipod because the wind noise overrides the ear plug volume. Otherwise it felt very comfortable on several week long trips.

Cool helmet Realz

When I first saw this helmet I thought cool. Then I saw it was a Bell and thought real cool. I wear glasses and before with my full face helmet I had to pull off my glasses, put on the helmet and then put the glasses back on. With the Revolver helmet I can leave my glasses on by moving the chin guard up and out of the way to put on the helmet. The drop down sun shade works fine with my glasses. I have only had two rides with it; about 30 miles total, but I like it.

nice helmet but not with glasses Michael

I love the dropdown shade and magnetic strap keeper removal of shield is easy also. Graphics top notch and interior is confortable. If buying to wear with glasses though It will not work. I onky wear glasses to work but will be using my old kbc modular for this task since this helmet has no room or slot for frames. Had to point my glasses down towards my eyes and look through them at a 20 or 30 degree angle while they kind of just float there and move around.

Best Modular Yet! Todd

I've ridden hundereds of thousands of miles from no helmet to full face. The REVOLVER EVO is no louder than anything else I've ridden. The field of view is great. The windshield and tinted flip down visor have excellent optics and with the breath cup and nose piece removed for summer riding, that little catch as you lift the face up is gone. I love the helmet! Peeking around the inside, it looks like there are reliefs for some speakers above the cheek pads. Perfect! Especially for trips of a few hours! It's the best price for the quality of any modular helmet that I've seen or used yet, this being my 3rd modular. Price is the last thing I look at when I'm saving my melon. How BELL gave us such a helmet for this price is a great value! Thank you BELL... again!!!

Loud Smc

The Revolver is my second modular helmet purchase. I bought the Revolver to replace an HJC modular that was unstable, and allowed cold air, and bugs under the chin bar. Nothing like a bee between your face and face shield at highway speed!

The Revolver arrived on time. My first impression of the helmet out of the box was quality. Everything from the operation of the sun shield, vents, and flip up face was smooth and had a quality feel.

On my first ride wearing the Revolver I was very pleased with how stable the helmet is at highway speed. No more buffeting as I had experienced with the HJC. The anti fog coating on the face shield works as advertised. I had no issues with fogging even when waiting at traffic lights with the shield closed. The only negative thing I have to say about the Revolver EVO is the helmet is very loud. The wind noise from the bottom of the helmet is awful. If I pull my shoulders up where they touch the bottom of the helmet it solves the problem. Whisper quiet but is not a comfortable or sustainable position. I use ear plugs with this helmet as the wind noise is so bad. I hope Bell takes another look at the design on the bottom of this helmet. Even with the wind noise I am pleased overall with the Revolver. The helmet is light weight, stable, and has quality features. Just needs a little more attention to the wind noise issue.
