First I have to give it up for (((Triangle Cycles))) for the great customer service and knowledge of their products. ((((Justin))) You the man. This was my First week with my RS-1 and I am sold Bell truly hit the mark with a great product for the money. I will be a repeat buyer.. a Star is next and Justin I will be calling you.
1 week in the hospital, 5 broken ribs, 1 totaled Buell 1125R, 1 well tested Bell RS-1.
I loved my bike, I loved my Bell. I replaced them both with the same items, and I'm back out enjoying the ride.
I have a couple Shoei's, including a X-Eleven I bought right before I got the RS-1, but the RS-1 is always my top choice.
I could hardly wait to get it replaced. The quality is great, the fit and airflow very good, and the Transitions shield is worth every penny.
This helmet is by far the best helmet that I have ever owned. I have been riding for about 35 years so that says a lot. My Arai and my Shoei do not even come close to the comfort, the light weight and the overall stability of the RSI. Make sure you get the transition shield and I know you will just love this helmet. The shield goes from clear to tinted in about 30 seconds. I have had other motorcyclist stop me on the road asking where they can get one. For the price, comfort and performance this helmet is number 1!!!!!!!
Just got my rs-1 so far the helmet has been everything I expected. Gotta be the quietest helmet Ive ever worn, its light, and graphics look awesome. It is a snug fit but it makes me feel secure. The materials used inside the helmet are awesome and feel awesome. Can not wait to upgrade to the transitions shield!
I'm a recent owner of the Bell RS-1, so far i have about 500 miles with that helmet, city and highway and I love every second of it.
Why I chose Bell?
Well, I'm also owner of Star RSD C-Note which back in 2010, I paid around $650 for. Long story short, button on the chin strap broke and thanks to their warranty they sent me a brand new helmet. I was amazed by how well this company backs up their products and just because of that I would recommend to buy Bell.
Back on to the RS-1, it is a smaller fit then Star helmet, which i have in size small, while RS-01 I have in size medium. It is also quieter then Star which is great. As I am from NY and we didn't see any hot days yet, I have not tested out the vents, but it feels like helmet has good air flow with vents closed.
Compared to the other brands, I think you get better value for your money.
I purchased at the Cleveland Oh motorcycle show and had it fitted there,it is lighter than my current AGV and is a great value for all the features the helmet has.Nice job Bell and thanks again Chad.
Helmet is amazing. Lined with great material, removable interior, fantastic fit, and great designs. I bought the auto tinting shield and love it. The fit is fantastic. I had a Shoei RF800 before this, and it was very close to my mouth in fit. This gives more room, better comfort, and just a fantastic helmet. Nice going Bell.
