I've had this helment for about a year now and I love it. Air flow is the best of any helment that I have ever had. Good fit and finish. Minimal buffeting at speed, I think my head is more stable than with no helment at all. Very light weight! I will buy another Bell Starr Carbon HESS!!!!! It's kinda pricey but I think it was Bell that once said "if you have a $20 head, wear a $20 helment."

So needless to say im impressed. Love the areodynamics of the head checks as well as the stableness of high speed straights. Fit and finsh is flawless as well as the graphics. For $600 range you cant find better!

I have the speed freak and love it! Very stable and head check are effortless. This helnet is perfect for summer as the air flow is the best i have found. As for the fit and finish, Awesome! Im about ready to get the black beauty for my second one. If i had to find one thing that could be improved it would be wind noise, it has a little more noise than some, but not enough to sway my satisfaction.

love the helmet except for the noise, the neck area has some gaps between the pads that cause loud wind noise. otherwise the cooling is crazy good, the shield release is easy, the magnet in the strap is a great touch and the styling is cool

good light weight helmet

I've been in this helmet for a couple of months now and I have literally zero complaints. Stable at speed - and oddly enough, it seems like it's MORE stable doing head checks. The matte carbon finish looks terrific as does the overall look of the helmet - very aggressive...best looking lid on the market, IMO. Air flow is terrific without being too noisy and the placement of air onto your face is also to be commended - with other helmets I had to make certain I had plenty of chapstick and drank plenty of water on hot days because air was directed into my mouth instead of on the sides of my face. Outstanding product - all they need to do it put the Josh Herrin replica up for sale and the lineup will be even better!
