X-GAMES BMX | BELL BMX athletes were out in full-force at last weekend's X-Games. Held in Los Angeles, California, this year's games featured 2 BMX events; Big Air and Street.
In the Big Air competition, BELL rider Vince Byron landed a silver medal in the with an incredible 540 Double Tailwhip at about 15 ft over the coping. Unfortunately, Steve McCann, another BELL rider, went down hard on his first run and was unable to compete in the rest of the event.
The BMX Street event has been historically dominated by Garrett Reynolds. Garrett's won all 6 of the BMX Street Events held at the X-Games. Last year BELL Rider Chad Kerley came close to catching him, finishing with a silver medal.
This year Chad was able to capture the Gold Medal in just his 3rd X-Games appearance. We can't wait to see what the future brings for this young rider. Congratulations, Chad.
