safe helmet David Grubb

I crashed with the Javelin in a steep descent at IM 70.3 France. I landed on my back and slammed the back of my head on the tarmac. I could feel that the Javelin perfectly absorbed the blow to my head. As an anestesiologist/intensivist I am positive that the helmet saved my life. The Javelin has thus been proven perfectly safe in real world testing. Less importantly: the fit is excellent, the price is acceptable, it is well ventilated, the visor is very good although not easily removable (keep it on - superior to wearing ordinary shades). I only wish I had the opportunity to buy the star spangled featured variant. Best of wishes.

Great helmet, but missing accessories Patrick

Great helmet. Fits great and I like the wide view from under the visor. Others I have tried limit visibility. However, I can't find replacement visors, would be great if in multiple shades, and would be even better if you could buy a hard case for traveling to races via airplanes.
