For some riders, the racing gene seems to ooze through their veins. Josh Herrin is one of those guys. His love for the sport and all things fast has earned him early success on the track. Herrin is also a natural. He turned pro at age 16 and immediately took the podium at almost every event he entered that year. After upgrading to the American SuperBike class, Herrin made short work of jumping on the podium in the AMA’s premier class. In only his second race, he came third and followed it up with numerous top-three finishes throughout the season.
His love for riding and racing is evident on and off the track. His ten-acre compound in Georgia boats more motor toys – jet-skis, race cars and bikes -- than most machine shops…and Herrin loves to goof off and have fun. Off the bike, he’s quick to smile, laugh and joke. With the shield down, Herrin is one of the most serious competitors around.
