Rocking a new look for 2013, including his Bell Moto-9 Carbon helmet, 25-year-old Jake Weimer is one of the top talents in Supercross and Motocross racing. Last year Jake finished third overall in the outdoor Nationals and fifth overall in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. Every time this 25-year-old Idaho native rolls into the start gate, he’s a straight up podium contender.
But it hasn’t always come easy forJake. Since making his debut in 2005 in the 125 class, he has battled through several injuries and trained hard to show steady progress. Over time he proved himself in the SX Lites class, culminating with a dominating run in 2010 that saw him win four races and the overall West Coast Lites title. Now racing in the 450 class, Jake is currently working hard with his trainer Aldon Baker—and the results on his Kawasaki KX450F show it.
These days Jake lives in Groveland, Florida. When he’s not training or racing you can find him snowboarding or just out having fun riding local dirt.
